Karoline Leavitt ‘in talks’ for her next career move – President Trump will be very angry if she accepts
Karoline Leavitt may be considering a move into daytime television following her departure as White House press secretary.

The 29-year-old left the Trump administration to spend more time with her newborn daughter, Viviana, and her two-year-old son, Nicholas. Her final day in the position was Thursday, August 27.
ABC producers have reportedly expressed interest in bringing Leavitt onto The View, initially as a guest and potentially as a permanent member of the panel.
Leavitt has not publicly addressed the possibility, and no official negotiations have begun.
ABC reportedly reaches out to Leavitt’s circle
According to the Daily Mail, representatives for ABC communicated their interest to people close to Leavitt following her White House exit.
A source told the outlet that Leavitt has been invited to appear as a guest on The View. The reported appearance would allow both sides to see how she interacts with the program’s current co-hosts before any permanent arrangement is considered.
At this stage, Leavitt has not been confirmed as either a guest or a new co-host of the ABC program.
A potential place at the table would bring Leavitt into regular discussions with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

Past criticism could create a tense dynamic
Leavitt has previously faced criticism from members of The View panel.
Goldberg objected to comments Leavitt made about “wokeness” in the media, saying the remarks “really p—ed me off.”
Behar also questioned why Leavitt had been selected as White House press secretary.
“I think that she’s probably been put in there because according to Donald Trump, she’s a 10,” Behar said.
The reported interest from ABC comes despite those earlier disagreements and President Donald Trump’s own public criticism of the show.
Trump has called The View “stupid” and described its panelists as “really dumb people.” He has also directed criticism toward Goldberg and Hostin.
During an October 2024 rally, Trump called Hostin “dumber than Kamala,” before adding, “That is one dumb woman. She’s a fool.”
Despite his longstanding dispute with the program, Trump is reportedly receptive to the possibility of Leavitt appearing on it.
Leavitt leaves the White House for her children
Leavitt announced earlier in August that she would leave her position at the end of the month to devote more time to her family.
Her departure came shortly after the birth of her daughter, Viviana. She is also the mother of two-year-old Nicholas.
During a White House event on August 24, Trump jokingly addressed her decision.
“She decided she loved her children more than she loved Donald Trump, I’m very upset about this,” he said.
Trump has otherwise said that he “totally understands and respects” her choice.
Although Leavitt has stepped away from the demanding role of press secretary, she is not expected to leave Trump’s political circle entirely.

She told reporters that she plans to join Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC and is expected to remain an important adviser to the president.
A possible new chapter in television
An appearance on The View would place Leavitt in a very different setting from the White House briefing room, but she has not yet confirmed whether she is interested in the reported opportunity.
For now, the information points only to outreach from ABC and an invitation to appear as a guest.
Whether that invitation develops into a permanent television position remains undecided, but Leavitt’s departure from the White House has already prompted interest in what she will do next.
