Man Saw His Newborn & Threw His Wife’s Things Out on the Street

What was supposed to be a joyful day for a new mother turned into a living nightmare the moment her husband laid eyes on their newborn child.

A 24-year-old woman, posting under the Reddit username Sweetbabyz2020, opened up about her painful ordeal to ask online users whether she had handled things the right way. Her trouble began when her 26-year-old husband, Jim, accused her of infidelity right after learning that their newborn daughter was born with a darker skin tone.

Without a shred of proof, Jim immediately took to social media to publicly blast her, claiming she had cheated on him. Despite her desperate pleas assuring him that he was completely wrong, he refused to listen—little knowing how deeply he would come to regret making such a reckless scene without any facts.

While her own mother stayed faithfully by her side, friends and relatives began blowing up her phone with hurtful, cruel remarks.

“Jim refused to pick me up from the hospital, threw my stuff out on the lawn, and changed the locks, so I had to stay with my parents,” she recalled.

Beyond cutting off all communication with his wife, Jim completely dismantled the nursery. He returned several of the baby items to the stores and gave the rest away. As it turned out, the explanation behind the baby girl’s darker complexion came from an ancestry DNA test previously taken by one of Jim’s cousins. It revealed that his family lineage carried 30 percent African ancestry—a discovery that made complete sense after Jim’s great-grandmother confessed that she had had an affair before giving birth to her son.

“It was an ex-girlfriend who had cheated on him, and he hooked up with her purely as an ego boost,” she revealed.

Hearing this confession broke her heart all over again, serving as the absolute final straw. After discovering his past betrayal, she made it clear that she would never reconcile with him nor accept his apologies. Instead, she decided she will be filing for divorce as soon as their daughter turns one.
