She Was Left in ER With Zero Chance… 365 Days of Tears For This Lifeless Dog
“Here’s our girl. Here’s our sweet Violet. She’s tired right now. Are you so tired, mama? Are you so sleepy? So, as you guys can— Oh, did you want some belly rubs? Were you going to get ready to ask for some belly rubs? Good girl, Violet. Good girl, little mama.”

“She’s such an angel, you guys. She really is such an angel. It’s just crazy to think all that this sweet, sweet girl has gone through and she could still be, you know, just an angel.”
“Hey Google, pause music.”
“Are you ped for me? Are you ping for me? You’re such a sweetheart.”
“So, this morning she started vocalizing and I didn’t know, you know, obviously we’re still learning each other. I’m still learning her cues and what she needs because she’s not mobile. She’s just beginning to be able to lift her head. That’s good. But this morning she started vocalizing and I carried her outside, and helped her balance. And this might sound so silly and like nothing to you guys, but she was able to take a few steps on her own. Are you itchy? What is it?”
“This is the most horrific act of animal abuse I have ever seen. Like you guys, I’m not going to… I’m not going to have her stand, but like my finger is wider than her body and she is a full-size poodle. It is so unbelievable. Anyways, I’m going to look on here for a couple questions. Is she okay when you move her…”
“Hey, you’re walking in the house! Good girl. Oh my goodness. Wow, Violet! You’re incredible. Okay, I think we might be pushing our luck a little bit. Come on, Missy Doodle. What? You’ve never done this before. Good job, Violet. You want to come lay in your bed? Look at this big girl. Violet, I’m so proud of you.”
“Like, it’s literally Greg. Okay, girls. Don’t knock her over. Violet, come here. Come here. Come here. Oh, strong girl. Go get in your bed. Go get in your bed. God, she’s a genius.”
“Oh, she’s a sweet guy. She melted. She almost made it, but then she comes in. Good job, Squid. Don’t be helping people. Are they down now, mama? Mr. Goldie, you’re so so helpful.”
“Update on Violet, our sweet poodle that came to Sky Sanctuary after experiencing years of neglect. Yesterday was a big day for our girl. Not only did she get to experience her first elevator ride, but she also got to meet Dr. Matthews, the cardiologist. I was so impressed by Violet’s behavior in the lobby. She just laid there looking at the other pets in the pet parents while she waited for the tech to take her back for her echocardiogram. The testing concluded that Violet’s grade 2 heart murmur is caused by a mitral valve abnormality. What we don’t know is if it will improve as her body becomes healthy, stay the same, or possibly get worse. Only time will tell. What we do know is Violet did so good at the vet’s office today that she earned herself some very special Sky Sanctuary snacks made by her friends at Wild Wolfpack Treats. Because of this community, Violet is getting the best possible care. Tonight, we’re going to weigh her.”
“We have a few exciting announcements to make over here at Sky Sanctuary. Last night, little Miss Violet, not only did she pick up her first toy, but she also played with the other animals for the very first time. It feels so wonderful to see so much pep in this little one’s step. I am just so proud and amazed and grateful that we had the opportunity to help her live. Additionally, we just put out the cutest Violet crewneck. It is kind of Valentine’s Day vibes and it has a cute little face on it. So, 100% of proceeds go to support the mission of Sky Sanctuary. Thank you will never be enough.”
“Marines with three dogs. There’s sweet Violet. Sadie, there’s Sadie. My mom’s dog, Joey. Hi, Joey. Hi, Joey.”
